1000W Power amplifier - my own build

This amplifier is a Audio Power amplifier
Its power supply is 50 -0- 50 Vdc 15A.




When making an amplifier its important to check the output and supply
if there is a short circuit.




 After checking carefully
you can now
connect the power supply
be careful when connecting
the power supply
to the amplifier module
as it holds High current and voltage.

After checking the amplifier
I built a case made of aluminum and steel plate.





 
 
 

Putting Fans in each module is mandatory
as it create heat.
The powerful your amplifier is ,the more heat it create.

Homemade guitar amplifier repair troubleshooting guide

My customer brought me a homemade guitar amp.
The main problem is that it has no sound.




First thing to do is check the speaker  using continuity
in my case the speaker is 8 ohms.


After checking the speaker.Good to know that
speaker is good
So based on my opinion the board maybe has a problem.


so I leave it to my cat.....C'mon garfield give it a try....

Just joking.....

After seeing the insides which is the placement of the parts.
It is  unusual. Not a good build .And not durable enough
to hold its board and components.What a risky build.

But its okay as long as I can repair it .By the way its not my
Guitar amp.


At fist i check the pre amp if it receives power.And ok its good
nothing to blame on power supply.



Next is the input of the pre amp.Checking if it has short circuit
or open ground.Applying glue gun on the wires to hold it.So no more
problems about the wires.

Checking the groundings Which solved the problem .The groundings of the
shielded wire from input is open .Hurray took me 10 minutes of troubleshooting

 So its coming back in action.....If you have

How to repair your Adaptors dc plug.

This is a tutorial on how to repair your dc plug in your adaptor. 

Then ..well its time for you to repair your adaptor. Caution: this requires soldering techniques so be careful ..

Tools needed :

cutter pliers

glue gun

soldering iron

soldering lead

your dc plug from your adaptor

Strip the wires using cutter pliers

Solder the red wire to the tip connection of the dc plug

Then solder the white wire which is the (negative) to the ground of the dc plug

After soldering the parts apply the glue gun

this will create insulation of the wire and connection.

Put more glue like this ,as it will be the holder of your dc plug

Then let it dry for 5 minutes.
